Be Happy Directors, Julie and Hellen, decided to buy Little Blues Nursery school in May 2016 when it went up for sale. Julie’s son attended Little Blues at the time so she was very familiar with the business, staff and children.
We have created a natural warm, friendly environment where you and your child will be welcomed by our happy staff. We have limited our number of places of our setting to provide a ‘home from home’, consisting of Day-care and funded children aged 3 months - 4 years 11 months, to create a premium intimate environment.
Our relationship with parents has helped us to develop a professional friendly service for you and your child, working in partnership so that children’s learning continues through home to Nursery. ‘Placing children first’ creates the umbrella of care between Nursery and home making each child feel ‘unique’ and ‘secure’ within the learning, nurturing Nursery. Be Happy Childcare values the great partnership that we have with parents. We will always see you as your child’s primary carer.
We also ensure that all our children have a stimulating diverse day with both indoor and outdoor activities, which help little minds grow and develop to reach their full potential. Our experienced staff provide activities that cover all the EYFS areas, problem solving, risk taking, idea provoking and suitable for every child’s stage of development, so that all our experiences develop the
foundations that a child needs for adult life.
We have action packed days planned, to ensure that our little friends grow with confidence and develop their skills independently following the EYFS. Our Pre-School also has a structured environment in which children learn to be School ready.
Our emphasis is on having fun
We are open all year round providing great holiday clubs to complement our flexible working parents proposition. At Be Happy Day Nursery Burnham you child will receive a two course lunch provided by a small local catering company, the meals are freshly prepared and brought to us by the company who work closely with our team to provide a healthy, well-balanced seasonal 4 week rotated menu. We can cater for most special diets, please let us know the full details of any allergies.
Please note that all food that is served by the Nursery does not contain nuts and we follow the food guidelines therefore we know where our food is sourced and its ingredients and allergens. If you are paying Nursery fees this is covered within your fees as such is breakfast and tea, if you are accessing a funded place only then a small charge will be invoiced to you for your child’s meals.
The setting is located on the Burnham Football Club site and has ample parking.
